Chairman


Cheng-yaw Sun

Mr. Cheng Yaw Sun has been appointed as Board Chairman of hiSoft Technology International effective March 2008. Cheng-Yaw was managing director of Hewlett-Packard China/Hong Kong and vice president of Hewlett-Packard from 2002 to 2007. Prior to the merger of Hewlett-Packard and Compaq, Mr. Sun served as managing director of Hewlett-Packard China from 2000 to 2001. From 1991 to 1999, he worked as a general manager of the Computer Systems Group in Hewlett-Packard China. Mr. Sun joined Hewlett-Packard Taiwan in 1982 as a system engineer where he held various sales management positions from 1983 to 1990.

Mr. Sun has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Chung Yuan Christian University of Taiwan.

Jenny Lee

Ms. Lee is currently a Managing Partner at Granite Global Ventures (GGV) and is responsible for GGV's China investments and operations. From 2002 to 2005, she served as a vice president of JAFCO Asia. From 2001 to 2002, she worked as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley. Prior to that, Ms. Lee worked as an assistant principal engineer with Singapore Technologies Aerospace Group from 1995 to 2000.

Ms. Lee received her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and master of science in engineering degree from Cornell University. She also has a master of business administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.


Loh Tiak Koon

Mr. Loh brings with him over 20 years of global market experience in leading IT companies. Before joining hiSoft, Mr. Loh was Hewlett-Packards Corporate Vice-President responsible for Hewlett-Packards China and Hong Kong multi-million dollar services business which includes technical services, integration, outsourcing and consulting.

As a highly competent leader, Mr. Loh has demonstrated his ability to leverage companies and steer them into new growth mode, resulting in significantly improved shareholder value. During his leadership as Chief Executive Officer of Vanda Systems & Communications Holdings Limited, Vanda Systems merged with Hutchison Global Communications and PowerCom to become a technology powerhouse. Prior to Vanda, Mr. Loh also held positions as the Managing Director for the Internet Capital Groups Asia operations and the CEO of Cap Gemini Asia-Pacific.

He started his career at IBM, and subsequently Lotus Professional Services, serving various senior management and sales positions in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Loh has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore.


Wen Yong Le

Wen Yong Le joined JAFCO Asia in 2001 and is currently Resident Representative of JAFCO China, responsible for the investment activities in the PRC, with special focus on privately held technology companies established by PRC nationals. Mr. Le joined JAFCO Co., Ltd., the parent company of JAFCO Asia in Tokyo, in 1998. Prior to that, Mr. Le spent one year in the accounting department of Shanghai VW Motor Corporation in China.

Mr. Le earned a bachelor's degree in industrial management from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a master of arts in business and commerce from the Tokyo International University.


Terry McCarthy

Terry McCarthy is currently an independent director and audit committee chairman of Solarfun Power Holdings Co., Ltd a Nasdaq-listed company, an independent director of Agria Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed company, and a managing LLC member and investor of TriUnited Investors, LLC, Kansas.

He received a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University, a MBA from the University of Southern California and a master's degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
